Cottage Pie.
Serves 4
5 Medium Kumara, peeled and chopped (Orange)
1 Tablespoon of Trim milk
1 Cup of Lite Tasty Cheese, Grated
500g Lean Beef Mince
2 Small Onions, peeled and finely chopped
2 Large Carrots, grated
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
1/2 Cup Tomato Paste
2 Dessertspoons Gregg's garlic and basil paste
1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
250g Frozen Broccoli and cauli mix
Preheat oven to 180C
Cook the kumara in a large pan of boiling water until soft.
Meanwhile, brown the mince in a non-stick pan. Add the onion, shredded carrot and garlic, and cook for 2 minutes. Add the tomato paste, basil and garlic, stir in the tomatoes. Add the frozen veggies and simmer.
Mash the kumara with the milk and cheese. Place the mince in an ovenproof dish and top with the mash spreading evenly with a fork. Place into the oven and cook until the mince bubbles and the top of the mash is golden brown.
