A Monday lie in, absolute bliss. I wake up to sunshine and sounds of summer. At last it's my day off and I can get into the garden. My 21 year old son arrives home for a holiday next Sunday so I am hoping for 3 weeks of summer, as he is coming from winter in England. I hope he may fall back in Love with NZ a little.
I have put more photos in the gallery a new album called before and after from bootcamp and the Auckland marathon group with their medals. The gallery is in a drop down tab from articles.
We are raising money for the cancer society through two lovely Outlook sisters Kylie who has breast cancer and her sister Donna who is running the Rotorua Off Road half marathon to raise money for the society.
I am donating $1 for every kilo lost by Outlook Clients between now and March 4th and asking you guys to match it. We dropped 11kg and raised $22 on Saturday I think that we could do really well especially if we involve the 13 week challenge people too!
We would love to have more of your stories and testimonials on the site so if you would like to contribute just let us know. The website should now be fully interactive, so that you can comment on posts and get a bit of a forum going. Can you give it a go? Let me know if you have any problems with it.
Now about me.... I walked 8km with the group on Saturday and my hip is still sore- I am thinking recurring hip fracture
I still haven't reached 66kg and got my new training pants
grrr! This morning 68kg due to long weekend Sauv Blanc. A couple of years ago I did a sobriety February and dropped 2-3kg just like that. So I think I may do March this year, as I will be having a drink with my boy.
