One week down and 1.5kg lost. I weighed in at 67.6 this morning and I'm really happy with that. My goal this week is to lose 600g, because then I'll be 66.9kg which means I can buy my new training pants.
Great classes this morning, 6am's worked hard and pump at 9am was great!
Tomorrow's run is 6.6km tempo, although I want the Waiheke group to take it easy, no injuries before Saturday please!
The package for the Gold Coast Marathon is ready, so if you are interested I need to start looking at numbers now. We will have our own tent at the finish line for R&R, so we can be back on our feet and shopping the following day! Details are on the home page.
I'm sure you join me in wishing Wilma all the best for her first overseas marathon in the searing heat of Manila, she leaves on Wednesday and has promised to keep in touch through the facebook page.

Try my yummy Peanut Protein Cookie recipe for 30calories per cookie;
1/2 cup rolled oats; 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter; 1 egg white; 2 packets of stevia or equal; 1/2 teaspoon baking powder; 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips or carob chips.1 heaped 15g scoop of vanilla protein powder. I used Healtheries naturally Slim $20 from the supermarket
Pre- heat the oven to 180C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix all the ingredients together with a fork. With clean hands roll into 12 golf ball size rounds.Place on the baking tray about 4cms apart. Bake for approx 10 minutes.
Great with fruit for a snack. Low GI. Good for fibre.
