Post work out Breakfast smoothie

 1 cup Calci trim milk

1/2 cup Frozen Blueberries

1/2 cup live lite vanilla bean yoghurt

1/4 cup rolled oats

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional)

Extra Ice (optional)

Stick it all in the blender and go!

The milk and yoghurt provides protein for muscle repair and calcium for healthy bones.

Dairy post workout also helps to facilitate fat loss whilst protecting muscle.

The oats are high in soluble fibre which helps to reduce cholesterol while keeping you feeling fuller for longer.

Blueberries are high in antioxidants which help to neutralise free radicals caused by exercise.They are also a great anti aging food!

Flaxseeds are also a powerful anti oxidant that mop up free radicals and provide omega 3 fatty acids.

This smoothie is under 300 calories provides 41g carbohydrate, 6g fibre, 22g protein, and 5g of fat.
